GETTING STARTED IN MEDICARE GUIDE

Step 1: Contract with Green Leaf

Before you can contract with carriers, you must first complete the Green Leaf New Agent Onboarding. Contact the Green Leaf Contracting Department (contracting@greenleaffmo.com) to get started and complete all required onboarding documents.


Step 2: Contract with Insurance Carriers

Once you are onboarded with Green Leaf, decide which insurance carriers you want to contract with.

Call us if you’d like some guidance on carrier selection based on your location.


Step 3: Complete Certification for Each Carrier

Medicare Advantage and Stand-Alone Prescription Drug Plan
carriers require:

  • Contracting
  • Certification
  • Confirmation from the carrier that you are Ready to Sell (RTS)

Carrier certification reference information can be found HERE

Medicare Supplement Carriers require:

  • Contracting
  • Most carriers do not require a certification for Medicare Supplement products, although some do, so it’s important to verify before enrolling and making your first sale.
